Our apartment is located in Alblasserdam, in the western part of the Netherlands only 15 km from the port city of Rotterdam. The windmills of Kinderdijk, a Unesco World Heritage site, are only a 10 minute walk away. Supermarkets and restaurants in Alblasserdam are within walking or biking distance.
The A15 motorway is nearby (but not too close). Major cities such as Amsterdam, The Hague and Utrecht are all within an hour’s drive. The lesser known but beautiful old city of Dordrecht is just 15 km away and can be reached by passenger ferry. Rotterdam is also just under 30 minutes travel using the waterbus.
Our apartment has secure (covered) parking for your bikes and its own parking spot for cars (free, of course).
